soda_analyzer.convert_native_nebscape_calculator_to_soda_config(source=None, *, calculator_tuple=None, print_report=True, text_output=True)

Convert a supported native NEBScape calculator spec to SODA config fields.

Parameters:

  • source (str or pathlib.Path, optional) – Source path or text to inspect; see Notes for the input accepted by this operation. Default: None.

  • calculator_tuple (tuple, optional) – Native NEBScape calculator specification supplied directly instead of parsed source. Default: None.

  • print_report (bool, optional) – Print the formatted report in addition to returning its dictionary. Default: True.

  • text_output (bool, optional) – Use a human-readable report when true, or JSON when false. Default: True.

Returns:

dict – Contains calculator config fields, ready_to_run, source provenance, and diagnostics. This helper returns configuration data without writing a run folder.

Notes

The source path/text is parsed statically and is never executed. Unsupported native Python setup patterns are reported as structured diagnostics and make ready_to_run false.
