read_con

soda_analyzer.read_con(path, index=-1, repair=True)

Read an EON .con file, optionally repairing malformed worker headers.

Parameters:

  • path (str or pathlib.Path) – EON .con file to read.

  • index (int or str or slice, optional) – ASE image selector; -1 selects the last image and ":" selects all images. Default: -1.

  • repair (bool, optional) – Attempt in-memory repair of malformed SODA worker headers if normal reading fails. Default: True.

Returns:

ase.Atoms or list of ase.Atoms – Selected ASE images. Repairs occur in memory and do not modify the input file.
