get_band_metadata

nebscape_lib_class.get_band_metadata(band_id, include_neb_summary=True, include_lineage=True)

Return band endpoints, ancestry, and optional NEB outcome metadata.

Parameters:

  • band_id (int) – Identifier of the interpolated band.

  • include_neb_summary (bool, optional) – Include NEB summary fields if available, or None when no summary is recorded. Default: True.

  • include_lineage (bool, optional) – Include structure ancestry in each endpoint description. Default: True.

Returns:

dict or None – Metadata dictionary, or None for an unknown band. Its neb_summary is None until a summary is recorded.
